450 g (1 lb) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
5 cloves garlic, minced
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Pat shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook shrimp 2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
Melt butter in the skillet, sauté garlic 30–45 seconds. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
