450 g (1 lb) salmon fillet, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tablespoons chopped green onions
1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
Pat salmon dry and season with salt and pepper.
Sear salmon bites in olive oil 2–3 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet.
In the same skillet, melt butter and cook garlic 30 seconds. Add honey, soy sauce, and vinegar, simmer 2–3 minutes.
Return salmon to skillet and toss to coat in sauce for 1 minute.
Serve immediately, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
